In October 2017, the company TecVesta Arman Technology Investors Company was established with the brand name TecVentures.

As the venture capital arm of Tosan Group, TecVentures acquired some small and medium-sized companies from Tecvest Holding, including “Etemad Hooshmand”, “weedoo”, “Zamin Hooshmand”, “Ray Dana”, “TLS” and “Hamro”. So, in addition to homogenizing Tosan Group’s portfolio of investments, TecVentures provides a specialized and focused platform for guiding, mentoring and financing the group’s small and medium-sized companies and startups.

TecVentures, in addition to managing companies transferred from Tecvest, while identifying investment opportunities and talented entrepreneurs in the field of information and communication technology and fintech, also developed new businesses and companies.

In 2018, TecVentures invested in “Zorbad” as a provider of an intelligent system for sealing, storing, and exchanging precious objects based on blockchain technology, followed by “Dolphin AI” with the aim of developing artificial intelligence and machine learning services and “Rayzan Hooshmand” with the purpose of consulting, training, and providing content in economics, business, finance, and investments in 2019.

As of the beginning of 2022, TecVentures has entered the lifestyle and health fields by establishing two new companies. “Harekat Hooshmand” has launched the “Energym” app for fitness and health, while “Nava Diyar Kherad” has launched the “Deed” brand for lifestyle and image search and idea generation. At the end of the year, “Noavaran Tosan Business Systems” was added to TecVentures’ investment portfolio providing e-government services.

TecVentures is committed to its VC goals and continues to manage and lead its existing portfolio. It carefully monitors business development and investment opportunities and welcomes partnerships with entrepreneurs and investors from the country’s startup ecosystem.
